Massachusetts, Massamesetts.

Well, I'm going to write this post with the hope that I'll actually keep this up as time goes on. Let's just hope that I make the time to do it - I have a knack for starting things like this and never finishing them...

That being said, hi from Boston! I'm really excited about living here, but extremely anxious about starting this next chapter in my life. The past year was really stressful with all the drama that happened, but it's really comforting to know I've landed on my feet, and have the rest of my life to enjoy with someone I love.

I left Georgetown last Thursday to head up here. During my JetBlue flight I experienced some of the worst turbulence ever, but I arrived safely. Scott met me at the airport (because I also have a knack for getting lost and confused in situations like that) and we took the T to the new apartment.
After a little of of re-arranging and unpacking, we went to Stephanie's on Tremont. After that, we came home and passed out.

Friday, I got up when Scott left for work and decided I was going to get the rest of the apartment completely unpacked before Scott was going to get home at 2. I worked like a madman, but ended up getting everything done before 12:30. I seriously don't know how I did it - but I got clothes hung up, the computer set up, and things put away in just a few hours. The only thing that's left to be done is hang up pictures - well, that and buy more wall art, too.

After unpacking, I was starting so I decided to try to head to the Prudential Center where I knew there was a food court. It's a mall, and also Scott's office so I thought I knew my way there. I made it there without a problem, ate lunch, took some shorts back we had bought on our last trip here, and walked around. I realised I needed to be back at the apartment by two, because the cable guy was scheduled to come by and hook up ou cable/internet then. So I left, thinking I knew where I was going. However, I somehow got completely lost and it took me about 45 minutes to get home. Even with GPS on my BlackBerry I ended up take two wrong turns. Sigh, I hope I learn my way around soon. I guess I should get used to getting lost, but I just hate that about my self.

After the cable guy came and went, Scott and I left for Ogunquit, Maine. We went there last year, and had fun so we decided that we shold go back while we don't have to worry about boarding Bentley. It's so pretty up there! On Saturday, we drove up to Kennebunkport to Walker's Point (the Bush summer home compound), and driving by we saw Barbara Bush and her massive white hair outside! She was talking to some others, but there weren't as easily as recognizable. Pretty funny though.

We drove back yesterday, after stopping at Target, Best Buy, and the grocery store. We spent over $350 at the grocery store! Crazy! But the movers had to throw away most of the food during the move, so basically we had to start from scratch. We put away everything, ate some pizza for lunch, and then watched TV before making dinner.

Right now, I'm trying to do reasearch for my interview tomorrow. I'm trying to find election returns in Massachusetts for the past few elections. I'm also trying to find voting trends to see what sort of insight I can gain.

Anyway, I think I've rambled enough. Hopefully I actually write again....
